Three weeks in Japan,
if you want them.

Come for the conference days, or build a family trip around them. Most families are doing a bit of both.

Programme

The children's programme is planned in meeting rooms at The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike, the hotel adjoining ICC Kyoto. Drop-off and pick-up on foot.

Getting there

Kansai airport to Kyoto Station: about 75 minutes on the Haruka express. Tokyo to Kyoto: 2h15 by shinkansen. Kyoto Station to the venue: 20 minutes on the Karasuma subway line.

April is peak season. Book early, and book cancellable. Staying on the Karasuma line keeps the daily trip simple; staying near the venue keeps it to a walk.

Background

What families told us

In May 2026, 115 families from 60 chapters answered our survey: 224 children, what they want from the days in Kyoto, and how they'd like to help. The report is the basis for everything on this site.
